A Toronto native,
Caldwell Lever
graduated from Film Studies at Ryerson University, before obtaining his MA in Media Studies at the New School in New York. He made several small films and worked for Henry Less in Toronto before making his first feature film, L’Orogenesi, which won Best Italian Documentary at the 29th edition of Torino Film Festival
